Pagan Solidarity Alliance – Code of Conduct Addendum
Adopted in conjunction with PSA Bylaws v1.0 – August 2025
Applies to all Supporting and Participating members, Working Teams, Spiral Council, and Representatives
1. Core Values
All members of the Pagan Solidarity Alliance are expected to uphold the following core values:
– Integrity: Act with honesty, consistency, and transparency.
– Respect: Honor the dignity of every individual, path, tradition, and experience.
– Justice: Confront oppression and uphold the rights and well-being of the marginalized.
– Consent: Prioritize informed, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent in all interactions.
– Solidarity: Operate from a spirit of care, collaboration, and collective defense.
2. Prohibited Behaviors
The following actions are incompatible with PSA membership and may result in disciplinary action:
– Harassment, bullying, or intimidation (including physical, verbal, digital, or magical)
– Hate speech, slurs, or targeted insults based on identity, belief, or background
– Sexual misconduct, coercion, or violation of consent
– Disruptive or abusive behavior in meetings or public forums
– Spiritual manipulation (e.g., coercive use of ritual, spellwork, or egregores)
– Doxxing, surveillance, or violation of member privacy
– Public misrepresentation of PSA positions or unauthorized statements
– Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, age, or spiritual path
3. Digital and Social Media Conduct
Members are expected to:
– Engage respectfully in online forums and collaborative tools
– Avoid inflammatory or aggressive posting on behalf of PSA
– Use trigger warnings when discussing trauma-heavy content
– Keep screenshots and recordings within consented boundaries
– Report harmful behavior to team leads or the Spiral Council, not just on public threads
4. Boundaries and Ritual Safety
As a multi-traditional spiritual network, PSA acknowledges diverse practices. All members agree to:
– Use clear boundaries in group ritual (e.g., opt-in energy work, safe circle casting, informed invocation)
– Avoid hexing, binding, or cursing others in Alliance spaces — even symbolically
– Respect consent and autonomy in magical workings and group energy
– Acknowledge spiritual trauma as real and valid; avoid reenactment or unintentional triggers
5. Accountability and Repair
Violations of the Code of Conduct will be reviewed by the Spiral Council or a delegated Conflict or Ethics Team. Outcomes may include:
– Informal conversation or mediated discussion
– Written warning or agreement to boundaries
– Temporary suspension from teams, events, or roles
– Revocation of membership, where warranted
All members have the right to raise concerns and to request conflict mediation.
6. Reporting Harm
To report a violation of this Code of Conduct, members may:
– Contact the Spiral Council via secure email or designated platform
– Request private mediation with a conflict facilitator
– Submit anonymous concerns if appropriate platforms are available
– All reports will be reviewed promptly and with discretion
7. Affirmation
By participating in the Pagan Solidarity Alliance, all members agree to abide by this Code of Conduct in alignment with the Alliance’s mission and values.
